This morning there was a book presentation at the premises of A primary school
where three classes (from nursery to B) attended and participated in the activities that followed the reading.





The writer showed the pupils the illustrations of the story on the school projector and then they all drew and painted snails on the photocopies provided.

They were about 40 pupils participating, from 4 to 7 .


We are grateful to the teachers for their kind support and their enthusiasm and hope this activity will take place in more schools all over the island and maybe ...on the mainland schools too!

Pinakothiki Dimou Kerkyreon

Pinakothiki (at the old palace) organizes a children's activity every saturday from 11 am to 1 pm. The event caters to young children 6-10 years old who like tales and art. Participants should bring with them a sketching pad and colors.

On the 18th December, when is the last event for this year, 20 copies of the children's book THE WHITE SNAIL will be offered to the young kids participating in the activity.

Admission: 3 euros for each child

Recycling in Corfu town

Do you recycle?

Apart from the recycling blue bins that can be found almost everywhere in town, there is another way to help: Buy and/or sell second hand items.
