New Art display at 106
The new art display
by the artist mr. Nikos Voutyras
takes place at the new Hall of Art at the New Port pedestrian street, number 106.

Yiannis Papagianakis
Opening day: Monday 4 July 2011 at 8 pm
Ending on 10th July 2011.
Open every evening from 7 to 10 pm.

On the 2 March 2011 THE WHITE SNAIL storybook was presented to the young readers of B primary school at the Public library(old castle).
The kids listened to the story read by the actress Alexandra Pagiataki and then drew and painted snails in the kids reading room. At the end of the activity the writer gave away snail cards and real snail shells.
The next reading of THE WHITE SNAIL will take place on the 9 March at the A Primary school.

Explore the Corfiot countryside...
This month is ideal for some fresh air outings to the wonderful wildlife resorts of the island.
Last Sunday I visited Bioporos, an area on the south of Corfu, at Korission lake. The view was amazing, the eco farm was ecxellent as well as the fresh food they prepare for their visitors. This place is ideal for a vacation all the year round. Visitors can walk around the farm, walk up to the lake and then enjoy the meals at the farm restaurant. There is a lot to see, from local exhibits in the small museum, to wildlife species.
An interesting place to spend your time and relax!

Kostas Mikalef
Kostas Mikalef presented his work at the Municipal theatre last night, at 7.30. The visitors had the chance to see beautiful Corfiot landscapes in oiland participate in the artists gathering.
Kostas has a unique perspective in depicting landscapes and uses a variety of hues and techniques to show his feelings.
