Happy New Year!

May the new year bring peace and happiness to everyone on the planet...

Corfu is quiet and chilly; some gray clouds show that snow will fall, but eventually the snow travels to the mainland and we remain with the overcast sky. The view is artistic but some people feel it is too much for them; you see, Corfiots are used to two things: sunshine or rain. It is going to rain tonight, though as the weather forecast says.

Last minute shopping is done and few people are outside. Life radio will be live for the next few hours keeping company to those who love listening to beautiful young voices and pop music. Now it is Vasilis and Tatianas broadcast on air; you can listen to them live at www.liferadio.gr

Have fun!

Best wishes,

Liana

I love the photos you've been posting. Until the day I get to make a Greece trip...

henry,

you will like it there... or not. I still think is a matter of 'taste'. I went to corfu in 2004 and 2008, it's like coming home :)

Henry,
I've been taking photos with a cheap webcamera, so they aren't very clear;my son's digital one is better-when it is available...Corfu is just a tiny green spot that comes to life in vacation summer months...

Jaspert,
So you've got an idea of the island...but visitors usually see the touristic side of it only.

Hi,

I also see most of the tourist sites and the second time we rented a car to see a lot more of the island, it's beautiful. By the way, your photo's are looking good, even with a 'cheap' camera :)

Thanks, Jaspert, very kind of you to say so! I love taking pictures, especially when cloudy. I used an old Olympia camera-manual type- years ago, and used to get fine black and white pictures which I then used as a model for my paintings indoors.
